 "2nd Annual Takoma Area
Green Homes and Gardens Tour"
Saturday, Oct 3, 2009 - 11am - 5pm

You can request your guide now using the

(optional donation and) Request Form.

The guide contains listings of about 10 homes, gardens and about another 10 points of interest in or near Takoma Park with a focus on energy efficiency as a theme. You'll find lots of other features as well, including a demonstration energy audit (see below for a full list).  We made this tour very compact so it'll be easy to walk or bike to many of the sites. There is no fee to attend though please consider making a donation to help support this and future tours.

The Green Homes Tour is a sub-tour of the DC Solar Homes Tour. If you want to see even more homes with a focus on solar features, open on Saturday the 3rd AND Sunday the 4th, visit www.solartour.org.  The Solar Tour features over 70 homes in the Greater DC area.
